Chris "Chilly" Rodriguez
Chris’s work is a visual representation of his journey—trauma, addiction, sobriety, fear, love and everything in between. He aims to capture the delicate balance of the human experience. Through large-scale public murals and canvas works, he explores the visual dance between darkness and light, using a mix of vibrant symphonies that blend abstract patterns, shapes, typography, and realism.
As a self-taught artist with a background in graffiti and street art, he is drawn to the idea that art is more than just color on a wall or canvas— it is a tool for healing and empowerment. His focus on murals allows him to witness firsthand the positive impact his work has on the communities where it lives.
His creative process begins with introspection, asking, “What am I feeling?” or “What am I trying to say?” I use a blend of materials—including aerosol, acrylics, oils, paint markers, and photography—to find the answers. While murals are his primary medium, he refuses to limit himself to traditional canvases. He creates on multiple surfaces, such as three-dimensional wood cutouts, skateboards, and any object that compels him to cover it in color.
His work can be found on walls throughout his hometown of Toledo, Ohio, and in numerous cities across the United States. His goal as both an artist and a human is to leave behind a world better than the one he entered. By creating a body of work focused on healing the human spirit, he believes that he is one step closer to achieving that goal.

Degnan
Connor Ryan Degnan, or ConTron, is a self taught painter from Toledo, Ohio. With a large focus on abstract fine art and a long history in graffiti culture, he is most interested in exploring the beauty of creativity at its core. Since 2015, Connor has produced many acclaimed works on canvas and has painted dozens of murals around Toledo and surrounding areas, helping improve the well-being of the community in the area.
Connor is the co-owner of Mind And Soul Gallery & Studios in downtown Toledo, where his studio work takes form and he is able to help facilitate studio space for other artists in the area. When he is not working in the studio or at the gallery, Connor has taken time to instruct local youth through community programs such as the Young Artists At Work Program and Youth Advocate Programs.
Connor plans to further his impact by using the gallery as a center-place for local and regional artists of all mediums to have a place to shine and be recognized, curating unique exhibitions for times to come.
